Still Gorgeous!

This year has been a slow progression of color. I was really afraid it was going to peak and be gone. Especially when we got a lot of rain a few weeks ago, but instead we have had this beautiful transition. This tree is right outside our house. It is STUNNING right now! Absolutely gorgeous!

It is almost finished and will be entered in the Bloomington Quilters Guild, Quilts from the Heartland Show on 11/11/11 at the Bloomington Convention Center! I know what I want for Christmas! A print of Paul Aikmans barn in fog, with layers of gray on top of layers of gray….so beautiful. As are you my dear!
